Warning – Northgate Financial Recuperation 

Last week KwikChex issued a warning for timeshare cold callers Contract Debt Relief Centre (CDRC) / European Debt Recovery Services (EDRS). It has since been brought to our attention that these fraudsters are also calling themselves Northgate Financial Recuperation. 

A number of consumers have reached out to KwikChex to report contact with Northgate Financial Recuperation. Some of the reported names and phone numbers of these cold callers match those used by CDRC / EDRS. They are even using the same fake story that a European order for payment (EOP) has been issued for non payment of maintenance fees. 

Advice from KwikChex  

If you have been cold called by Contract Debt Relief Centre (CDRC) / European Debt Recovery Services (EDRS) / Northgate Financial Recuperation, you should pay no attention to their call and instead report it immediately. Unsolicited contact by phone, text or email is likely to be a breach of data protection laws and it is recommended that it is reported to the appropriate national data authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as rogue businesses also often sell the information on to fraudsters.
